Secure end-user systems

Today’s standard personal computers or mobile devices, having off-the-shelf operating systems and software, cannot fulfill the desired security requirements of security-critical applications. Different applications of the same user are not protected against each other and end-users are confronted with frequent security updates. The proposed platform provides secure booting and authentication mechanisms that are necessary and sufficient aspects for security relevant applications like secure signature generation, home banking or eGovernment and eCommerce applications.
